Current World Crisis

The crisis in the global economy is not a new one, it is well-known and recognized all over the world. The crisis of the global financial system as people tried to protect their wealth, the lack of interest in saving money and investment, has led to the current problems of economic growth, unemployment, rising inflation, and inequality among countries. But now we can see the beginning of the end of those crises and changes in the global economy will be the consequence of this Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

A long time ago, our ancestors tried to overcome the conflicts between nations, the wars, the invasions, and the conquering. We used many ways to manage and change our society and people’s lives:

Maintaining an army, or fighting off enemies with weapons. The use of force to defend against our country or ourselves, like using slaves, or other tactics. Fighting for justice, freedom, and equality for everyone. Protecting the environment from pollution and destruction by protecting natural resources like rivers, lakes, forests. As part of self-defense, we fought against invaders who tried to control us from human power or destroy our way of life. In modern times, people have begun living under these conditions, in which they have to get accustomed to survival.

But with the spread of social media, people try other methods of managing their family, the health and personal hygiene of our people, working in offices instead of farms and factories. With such a global village and so much information on people around the globe, who do not know that they are the most important factor in controlling our planet? According to research, by now you must have seen how quickly things are changing worldwide in order to survive the current crisis. These changes are both negative and positive, as people try to protect themselves, the economy, and also to keep up appearances. People try to follow some rules and regulations to make sure that every action is legal, and that others should respect them and follow them. Still, the main thing remains that people still don’t know how to do it, and this issue is the root cause of the current problems. A government can help to solve this problem, but there isn’t a single solution. Each country, region, and nation has to find the solutions individually. This is exactly what happened in the USA in the 1970s, when after the Cold War, they did not want to start a socialist policy system, because that would mean they were going too far into the Soviet Union, so they decided to turn towards capitalism; but as soon as they started to realize that this was something to learn, they came back to socialism again and introduced free trade policies that many western countries try today.

We know that if more than 20% of the population is unemployed. If more than 50% of people are infected and the health system and healthcare systems are overwhelmed. Then it becomes clear that the current crisis is not only affecting many developing and developed countries, but also Western ones, like America and Europe. In 2008/2011, Western countries experienced another recession with a high unemployment rate.

In addition, we have the huge effect that coronavirus will have on the economic growth and development of many economies. It took nearly 3 months for the first lockdown of the year to be declared a failure by WHO. At the same time, the rest of the world continues to suffer and suffer more losses than we have ever experienced before. In 2020, at least 7 billion human lives will be affected by COVID-19 with death rates reaching up to 200 individuals per minute. More than 40% of the total deaths in 2019 were caused by covid-19; 2–8 million have been related to this deadly disease. The virus is a rapidly spreading virus and people need to pay attention. Our healthcare system is very low and not enough staff to treat people quickly, even though they are facing this epidemic for the next few weeks. Doctors and nurses are tired, tired of being called heroes but they are still trying, even though in many cases they have lost their own life. All people in the world, everywhere, have to stay calm in this pandemic, especially at this moment we are experiencing everything, both positive and negative.
